It is informed that the National Bank of Pakistan has marked the bank accounts of approximately 18,000 Monthly Benevolent Grant beneficiaries as “Dormant” due to pending biometric verification. Consequently, disbursement of the monthly benevolent grant has been temporarily suspended in these accounts. All beneficiaries whose bank accounts have become dormant are requested to kindly visit their respective NBP branches to complete biometric verification and activate their accounts for resumption of payments.

• The Federal Employees Benevolent & Group Insurance Funds (FEB & GIF) were established in 1969.
• Affairs of the Funds are administered through a Board of Trustees.
• Covers all Federal Government employees and the employees of those autonomous bodies to whom coverage of the FEBF & GI Act 1969 has been extended.
• Nine different benefits are being paid under its welfare schemes.
• Provide insurance coverage, Benevolent Grant and benefits under other welfare schemes.
• More than 40% families have so far received benefits from the Funds.
• More than 649,000 Federal Government Employees are being covered under its welfare schemes.

نیشنل بینک آف پاکستان نے مطلع کیا ہے کہ تقریباً 18,000 ماہانہ بینیولینٹ گرانٹ سے فائدہ اٹھانے والوں کے بینک اکاؤنٹس نان بائیو میٹرک کی وجہ سے غیر فعال ہو گئے ہیں۔ نتیجتاً، ان کی ماہانہ گرانٹ عارضی طور پر روک دی گئی ہے۔ تمام استفادہ کنندگان جن کا بینک اکاؤنٹ غیر فعال ہو چکا ہے ان سے درخواست کی جا رہی ہے کہ وہ نیشنل بینک آف پاکستان کی اپنی متعلقہ برانچ سے بائیو میٹرک تصدیق کرائیں تاکہ ان کے بینک اکاؤنٹ کو فعال کیا جا سکے۔ تاکہ ماہانہ بینیولینٹ گرانٹ کی رقم ایکٹو بینک اکاؤنٹ میں منتقل کی جا سکے۔

   For the purpose of reimbursement of fee, preferably provision of original bank paid fee challan is required. However, in case of online fee payment by the applicant directly in the university account, following documents are required alongwith fee challan showing detail of fee:

 

i) University verified copy of student ledger maintained by the university showing university A/C No. and detail of amount of fee deposited by him for the specific semester for which reimbursement is being applied to FEB & GIF.

 

ii) Copy of bank manager’s verified statement of a/c of the applicant showing transfer of semester fee into the university’s a/c.
